Summary

I am Imogen Hollands, located in Marlow, United Kingdom or Alexandira, Virginia, USA. I possess an extremely in depth, 3D skill set working in 3DS Max and 3DS Maya with experience in Z-brush. I mainly specialise in Hard surface modelling however I can also do sculpting even though it isn’t my speciality, I can incorporate both into a workflow using hard surface to build the asset then sculpting in detail. For texturing I have significant experience in 3DS Max base texturing systems and have a basic understanding of V-ray, A 3DS Max texturing system and have a good understanding of Substance painter.
If I don’t use Substance painter, I am extremely good at UV-Unwrapping, it is a skill I have spent 5 years developing and was the most difficult challenge I have overcome, I have done many difficult unwraps in the past some of the most difficult being a Nordic Torch and whole buildings. I then take those UV-Unwraps into Photoshop and create my own custom texturing, either by hand drawing them or using pre-made textures in creative ways such as crumpled paper working as glass or using an orange skin texture the base for a texture, using filters to change the textures colour to fit my desired look.
Not only am I able to complete the whole asset development pipeline allowing me to be flexible when working in a team in accordance with what the team needs at the time but I am also extremely well-versed at creation assets optimised and ready to be exported into Unreal Engine whether that be for a game or a film. My Unreal Engine work is by far the area I am best; I can make an import assets, create landscapes and scenes build then up using the assets I create then produce high quality cinematic renders for those assets. I can create my own particle effects in Unreal Engines Niagara System and can effortlessly create my own Blueprints and strings inside the engine to create animated assets or textures and have worked in Unreal Engines VR systems making a working scene in Unreal Engines VR which I played. I developed my own jump system to allow for basic platforming in VR.
When rendering out my projects in Unreal Engine I can render animations or still renders. I have a deep understanding of camera techniques and animations to create beautiful high-quality renders then applying basic edits in Premiere-pro to complete the pipeline.
I spent 2 years at Callywith Collage from 15-18 leaving with a distinction, which I then took straight away too Plymouth Arts University for 3 years graduating in August 2025, with the same grade of a distinction. I am a very hard worker always looking to learn new skills and improve old ones. I am now looking to get into the industry and learn what else my chosen career path will teach me.
